Story

This year my life long dream of running the London Marathon comes true and I owe it all to my Uncle Chris.

My earliest memory of my Uncle is him wheeling past us and waving as we cheered him on during his many London marathons. The excitement and admiration I had for him has never left me and I have always said I would love to complete the marathon myself. Unfortunately, my Uncle Chris lost his battle to cancer but I am sure he would be proud of me.

During his fight with cancer he was cared for at St Christopher's hospice. Not only did he recieve the best care possible but the support for my family was admirable.

I am incredibly lucky to be running as part of the St Christopher's team and being able to give a small amount back to this special place is something I do not take for granted.

So here's to lots of training, fund raising and 26 miles around London!
