Forget Me Not (Isle of Man Charity no. 1254) was formed in August 2018, with a mission to improve the support available for those living with dementia and their families in the Isle of Man. Our charity funds the provision of the Admiral Nurse service, supported by Dementia UK and hosted by Hospice Isle of Man.

Story

As I approach my 60th birthday, I find myself reflecting on the past five years of learning to live with long COVID. This journey has been challenging, yet it has also brought me closer to a wonderful group of friends who have supported me every step of the way. To celebrate this milestone and honor the strength I've gained, I am embarking on a new adventure: walking the Portuguese Camino Way.

In May and June of 2025, I will join eleven incredible friends as we walk from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. This pilgrimage is not just a personal challenge; it is an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a cause that is deeply meaningful to me: Forget Me Not Isle of Man. This charity provides the essential Admiral Nurse service on the Isle of Man, offering support and care for families affected by dementia.

Together, we can help ensure that families receive the care they need during their most challenging times. Please consider donating to our fundraising efforts for Forget Me Not Isle of Man as we walk with purpose and gratitude.
