Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 · 7 June 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

On Sunday 7th June, amazing supporters of AberNecessities will take on the challenge of either The Mighty Stride (18 miles) or The Wee Wander (4 miles) at the Aberdeen Kiltwalk.

Story

AberNecessities has been the employee-nominated charity partner of ICR since 2025. At this year's Aberdeen Kiltwalk, colleagues from across ICR will be taking on the Mighty Stride to raise further donations for this very important local charity.

The ICR Kiltwalk team includes Chris Bruce (Commercial Advisor), Daniel Christie (Project Manager), Dean Berry (Key Account Manager), Gemma Lawson (Accounts Receivable Coordinator), Maria Bevilacqua (Commercial Manager), Mellisa Eddie (Senior Accountant), Niel Jordan (Business Development Manager), Rohan Angus (Marketing & Comms. Advisor), and Scott Rogers (Graduate Technical Engineer).

----------------

AberNecessities, working alongside local services and our wider community, provides the everyday essentials and thoughtful extras that help children and families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, because No Child Should Go Without.

From maternity bundles for new mothers and babies to clothing, nappies, toys and equipment for children aged 0–18, their work focuses on providing the practical items every child needs, alongside small comforts that bring confidence, reassurance and moments of joy to families when they need it most.

Every referral received is handled with care and compassion, ensuring that each child receives support that feels thoughtful, personal and delivered with dignity.

By taking on the Kiltwalk as part of Bertie’s Besties we hope to raise much needed funds to continue the vital work that AberNecessities does across the North East.

Every penny of your donation goes towards buying items which are then given directly to families. Thank you for your kind support.
