In August this year I’ll turn 30 years old so I will be swimming 30 miles between now and my birthday! I’ll be swimming in my local pool and I'll need to swim almost 2,700 lengths to complete this challenge so I hope you’ll support me in this.

I am taking on this challenge to raise funds for the BHF’s research into vascular dementia, a cruel condition which my gran lives with. Caring for my gran and seeing the impact of vascular dementia is distressing, causing a lot of frustration and sadness and I want to channel those feelings into this challenge, in the hope that the BHF’s research will help others living with or affected by vascular dementia now and in the future.
