Story

Team JAWS was established to raise money in memory of Jake Whiteside who sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer in 2017 at the age of 16.

The initial event that the team undertook was the Isle of Wight Challenge where over £25,000 was raised for CLIC Sargent (now Young Lives vs Cancer). Subsequent events have been undertaken and to date the team has raised more than £90,000.

This is our first cycling challenge and sees us take on the 400km Tour of Flanders route. The team, consists of Jake’s brother, Scott, his Dad, Richard, and his Grandad, Ian, hence the team name Generations Apart
