The Welcome Organisation helps people affected by homelessness through a range of services including a Drop-in Centre, Street Outreach service, Crisis Accommodation for Women, Floating Support service, Catherine House supported accommodation for women and their Mobile Health Unit.

Their outreach teams are on the road from 7am to 2am 365 days a year. As well as providing support to help rough sleepers into accommodation, they provide a quick response service to those in need on the street. They act as a support to blue light emergency services, sometimes being able to get on site quicker, or to take over from PSNI and NIAS if their response is not required.

Genesis will be entering two relay teams into the Belfast Marathon and will be getting sponsored to raise funds to help with the work of the Welcome Organisation. Small gestures like this make a big difference in helping those affected by homelessness and whether it is in the form of food donations, warm clothes or money - we can all make a difference!
