Story

We are excited to announce our participation in the "Ben Nevis 2025" trek on September 12, in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK. This incredible charity is dedicated to helping the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions across the UK.

We were inspired to sign up for this challenge after attending a Muscular Dystrophy information day where we learnt about ground breaking research and significant developments in treatments, which could make real changes for Genevieve's son Dylan in his lifetime. Fundraised money goes directly towards the research projects happening now, you can find out more about these here

Dylan was diagnosed at 3 yrs old with Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy, a rare condition affecting as few as 1 in a 1 million people worldwide. Because UCMD is lesser known we feel it's especially important to raise awareness and bring attention to it.

The need for support has never been greater. Many individuals face significant challenges that can limit their lives. Muscular Dystrophy UK plays a vital role in funding world-class research aimed at finding treatments. They also provide essential information, advice, resources, and support for families navigating these conditions.

We are aiming to raise £2,000 to contribute to this important cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to us.
