Thank you for coming to my fundraiser page for the 6 item fashion fast I'm participating in for all the month of April.

Fast Fashion is the drive to increase profits and get products into our high street shops faster and faster. The drive to,

sell more > consume more > make more > waste more

This however has disastrous consequences for the people who make our clothes as well as the environment long term.

The Six Items Challenge is a fashion fast.

I'm happy to be able to join in with this event as it involves wearing just 6 items for the month of April - (thankfully not incl. underwear, phew!)

The Labour Behind the Label organisation that works alongside labourers from Leicester to El-Salvador to Bangladesh.

LBL works hard to fight for the rights of garment workers to improve abysmal working conditions in factories; reduce long working hours 12-18hr days; advocate their salary is fully paid & receive a decent wage
