Story
I have been a dedicated fund raiser for Myton since it first opened in 1982. In that year a draw club known as "Rugby Myton 250 Club" was formed of which I am now the sole remaining founder member. To date we have now raised about £300,000.
In 2020 during the Covid pandemic I walked a marathon over four days round my house and garden raising £5600 and in 2021 I did the same distance around Rugby and raised a further £3900.
I am now determined to do a marathon walk one last time as I will be 86 in May. Again I will be doing it over four days from the 9th to the 12th April. I will walk one day in Warwick, one day in Coventry and two days in Rugby. Myton is very close to my heart as my late wife in 2011 received care at Rugby Myton so I know first hand the difference their support makes.
I hope that you will encourage my effort by making a generous donation to the Hospice. I would like to make this walk my biggest fund raiser for Myton.
