As many of you will know that I have luckily (or stupidly) secured a place in the ballot for the London Marathon in April 2024. This will be my first (and quite probably only) marathon and as I will already be trudging the 26 odd miles around London, I thought that at the same time I would also try to help a charity that is local to me. Therefore, I am thrilled to be participating in the London Marathon 2024 to raise funds for the Halo Children's Foundation. This incredible charity provides vital support and services to children and their families during some of the most challenging times of their lives. As a parent myself, I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for families facing the loss of a parent, and I am honoured to do my part to help.
