Geoff's London Marathon Fundraiser

Geoff Pople is raising money for Bowel Research UK

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Raising vital funds for life-changing research into bowel cancer and bowel disease. Team Bowel Research UK at the 2025 TCS London Marathon.

Story

On Sunday 27 April I will be participating in my first marathon. I'll be running the London Marathon in support of Bowel Research UK who are dedicated to funding new treatments, not only for bowel cancer, but for many other bowel disorders too. I'll be running in memory of my Dad and my sister-in-law, Wendy, both of whom were victims of bowel cancer. And I'll also be running for the wider circle of people I know who, every day, live with disorders such as Crohn's disease and colitis.

Now that Eluid Kipchoge and Alex Yee have confirmed their involvement, a win seems unlikely, but your support will give me huge encouragement to complete the 26.2 miles whilst massively benefiting the fantastic cause of Bowel Research UK.

A MASSIVE thank you in advance to everyone who sponsors me.

Geoff
