Like many people, my family and friends have been affected by Alzheimers and dementia. Alzheimer's Society does fantastic work looking for a cure and supporting sufferers and their carers.

When I was offered the chance to fund-raise, I jumped at it. I mean, how hard can it be to walk 100 laps of Lord's cricket ground? Then I did the maths: it's about 50km - the distance from London to Gatwick. In for a penny!
