Myself and a group of colleagues from various businesses in the Constellation Automotive Group are about to undertake our annual cycling and marathon walking challenge to raise funds for Action for A-T.

Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) is a rare, degenerative condition which affects children in a number of ways. The symptoms, which usually start before the age of five, include problems with their nervous system, immune system and physical abilities such as walking, talking, balance, and feeding themselves. The condition progressively worsens, and many children with A-T do not live beyond their teens.

In the UK, research funding for A-T is extremely limited so Action for A-T was established to increase investment in A-T research and raise awareness of the condition.
