Helen and Geoff will be Zip Wiring across Twickenham Stadium on the 16th of October to raise funds for Crossroads care Richmond & Kingston, the amazing charity that provides advice and support to hundreds of carers and those they care for in our community.

We first discovered Crossroads during the Covid crisis when we were very fortunate to be able to volunteer with them to help deliver medicines to people who were shielding during periods of lockdown. We were both struck by the unique mixture of professionalism and practicality and empathy and care that is at the heart of everything that Crossroads does to support carers.

Following our experience delivering medicines, I became a Crossroads Trustee in 2021 and have been able to see first hand the brilliant work that the team do. From my own experience of supporting my mother when she was caring for my father, I know how hard caring for someone can be. Nearly all of us have or will go through the 'carers journey' at some point in our lives and having an organisation like Crossroads to call on for advice and support can make that journey a bit easier. If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, I know that every pound raised will go straight to helping Crossroads to support more people in our community.

We have been caring for local people of all ages and disability for over 30 years.
