On 27th April I will be running the London marathon in aide of Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

Alder Hey has been a huge part of my life not only does my amazing dad (Carly D) work there providing mental health services for children and adolescents in the North West, it has also provided vital treatment for members of my family including Luke Amos, who was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease at an early age and has continued throughout his life to receive care and treatment at the hospital.

It truly is a wonderful place, providing life saving treatment to children and support for the family’s of the children .

Now to run just over 8 park runs—or as the professionals call it, a marathon!
