Story

Dedicating my upcoming Chester 100-mile race to Sean Martin, who sadly passed away last year.

Sean was a good friend from school days and someone I’ve always looked up to over the years as he succeeded as lead singer of The Night Cafe. A talented musician and all round lovely lad. I will never forget him.

The race falls on Sean’s 27th birthday, April 13th.

Sean suffered in the last few years from severe migraines, a disorder I knew nothing about, and he was a big supporter of the Migraine Trust. I want to take the opportunity to raise my own, and others awareness of disorder and raise money. Also inspired by Luke Shaw running his first marathon April 14th in memory of Sean.

RIP Sean Martin 🎶 💙
