It is our mission to raise awareness of Addison's Disease and improve the lives of, educate and support people diagnosed with Addison's Disease and their families. Approximately 9,000 people in the UK have Addison's, with over 300 new cases diagnosed each year, yet very few have heard of it.

Story

Jordan Crombie passed away at the of 28 years old in July 2022 following complications from Addison’s Disease. Jordan’s family have since set up their own charity Jordan's Addison's Disease Awareness and made it their mission to raise awareness of Addison's Disease and improve lives of, educate and support people diagnosed with Addison's Disease and their families.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Jordan himself, through various family connections, for example through his father, John Crombie, gave me glimpse into how full of life Jordan was. To hear his story and battle with Addison's disease made me want to do something to honour his life and raise awareness about the rare autoimmune disease.

Approximately 9,000 people in the UK have Addison's Disease, with over 300 new cases diagnosed each year yet very few people have heard of this life changing disease!

I am currently 28 years old, the same age that Jordan sadly passed away. I couldn't begin to imagine having a life cut short at this age, so this is for you Jordan.
