After many years trying to get into the London Marathon via the ballot it has finally happened! This year I will finally be pushing my body through what is an intense period of training to complete not only the London Marathon but a Half Ironman Relay in Tours, France, all to raise funds for Galgos del Sol, a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned and abused galgos in Spain. Galgos are Spanish greyhounds who are often mistreated and abandoned after the hunting season. I am passionate about supporting Galgos del Sol's life-saving work, providing vital medical care, shelter, and love to these gentle dogs.
