Kia ora my name is George and I’m riding my unicycle around New Zealand. This tour has been a dream of mine for the past 3 years and is something that ties together my passion for cycling and adventure. I’m a 19 year old from New Plymouth who is determined to make the most of this opportunity. My ride is a clockwise coastal lap of both the North and South Island. For me this trip is a great opportunity to get to see more of the country, meet amazing people and raise funds and awareness for New Zealand Down syndrome Association (NZDSA). I chose NZDSA because I think it’s an organisation that’s doing amazing work for Kiwis with Down syndrome and I grew up with a family friend who has Down syndrome so it’s close to my heart.
