Story
Hi Everyone!
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a 27 year old lad based in Liverpool, who’s decided that climbing stairs just isn’t enough anymore! So instead, I’m taking on Mt Toubkal in Morocco - the highest peak in North Africa. This is the biggest challenge I’ve undertaken so far, with a three-day trek to the summit! That’s three days of blisters, sweaty socks and me wondering why I didn’t just sign up to do a sponsored silence instead (a question I’m sure many of you are asking!).
I’m doing this for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, a brilliant cause based right here in Merseyside. Clatterbridge is an incredible organisation, working tirelessly to support people affected by cancer. And with the shocking statistic that 1 in 2 people will face cancer in their lifetime, it’s clear we need to do something!
Why Me?
I’m from Liverpool, so not exactly built for mountaineering! The biggest hill I’ve tackled recently is Bold Street after a night out! But I am stubborn, and when Clatterbridge asked for fundraisers, I thought this was a brilliant opportunity to make a difference!
Why Donate?
Every step I take up Mt Toubkal is for the people who can’t. Every blister is a reminder of the battles fought daily by those living with cancer. Every donation goes directly to helping Clatterbridge help those living with cancer!
So please, support me in this challenge! Every donation big or small goes a long way and is hugely appreciated!!!
Thank you 🙂
