George's fundraiser for The Pieman PT Foundation

George Hill is raising money for The Pieman PT Foundation
In memory of Lewis and James Boyd-Hill

Swansea Ironman 70.3 · 12 July 2026

We are a mental health and wellbeing charity, set up in memory of Lewis Boyd-Hill who died by suicide in 2021. Whether it be through our peer support groups, wellbeing training or other outdoor pursuits, we believe in a world where we can not just survive, but thrive.

Story

I am setting up the fundraising page again as my previous one expired.

On the 12th July I will be participating in Swansea Ironman 70.3 for The Pieman PT foundation in memory of my cousins Lewis and James Boyd-Hill.

The Ironman 70.3 is a 70.3 mile race consisting of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike ride and then a 13.1 mile run at the end. I know this will take a different level of mental and physical strength but I'll make sure | get it done for Lewis and James.

The charity was founded in 2022 in memory of my cousin Lewis who tragically passed away in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic due to mental health struggles. The foundation is a mental health and wellbeing charity based in the North East of England.

Its mission is to empower adults aged 21 and over to find ways to live well, focusing on the "Three Peaks" of Education, Exercise, and Environment.

In 2022 we also lost James, Lewis's brother and my cousin. This was another devastating blow to the family. James was an active fundraiser for the charity carrying out events such as the Three Peaks challenge. To carry on his memory, myself and other members of the family have carried out various fundraising activities including but not limited to:

* The three peaks “little brother edition” By Lewis’s friends

* The Great North Run 2024 by myself and my sister Josie

* The Gateshead Marathon by my cousin Sophie

* The Great North Run 2025 by myself and my cousin Sophie

* Rome marathon 2026 by myself

Any and all donations would be massively

appreciated. If you cannot afford to donate then a share of this page would be just as appreciated.

Thanks for all of your support,

George
