In memory of Jules
The University of Liverpool's new Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) Fund has been set up to support ground-breaking research into immunotherapy, a promising new treatment for glioblastoma.

Story

My darling mother, the inimitable Julie Bolus, died three years ago after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) just two weeks prior. How time has flown and laboured on so simultaneously, Jules!

Glioblastoma is a highly aggressive and malignant form of brain cancer with the average survival time just 12-18 months.

On December 1st 2024, I will be running the 44th Valencia Marathon and raising money for the University of Liverpool’s Glioblastoma (Brain Cancer) Fund.

The fund has been set up to support ground-breaking research into immunotherapy, a promising new treatment for glioblastoma, and these treatments may offer hope for improved outcomes in the future.

If you have read this far then my primary mission of raising some awareness has been achieved but I’d be delighted if you could contribute!

Love George
