Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

I'm raising money to support the Fire Fighters charity after losing my best friend and brother in January, Rhys Gregory. The Fire Fighters charity provides mental and physical support to Fire Fighters and their family's in the UK. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service played an important role in Rhys' life and he was extremely passionate and proud of his job.

I'm going to be running the Dig Deep 30 mile trail race through the Peak District on 30th August this year (approx 5100ft ascent). I've always enjoyed running, however I've never ran probably more than 15 miles so it'll be a challenge for sure. Any donations are appreciated and I'll update you all with the result. There is a 15hr cut off time so providing I make it round within that I'll be happy. Thank you.
