I am running the London Marathon for the Rossendale Trust

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
As some of you may know my own journey has gone from spending around 4+ hours a day over 14 years of my life gaming to a life of running and closely watching my health.
This change in lifestyle has come from joining the Rundamentalist Run Club and working with both the Triple X Performance Centre and 5s Fitness.
The change in lifestyle over the last 18 months has led to a weight loss of over 20% my total body weight (22kg) but more importantly has introduced me to so many new friends and communities that I now see I would be at loss without.
Through my new found love for running I was introduced to the Rossendale Trust through a charity event and the wonderful Suzanne and I saw a service and community that provides so much and was unexpected so close to my own life than I realised.
After talking to my wife I learned that multiple family members, on her side, that I have known for many years have been supported, motivated and cared for by the Rossendale Trust so when I was asked to run this marathon I was absolutely honored.
I am aiming to get an ambitious sub 4 hour first time PB at the London Marathon 2025 on behalf of this amazing charity if anyone can support me along the way I would be so grateful for any support you can give this charity.
You can follow my journey on my socials below where I will keep them up to date with my progress:

The Rossendale Trust provide support and services to adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs.
They encourage the people they support to break down barriers, overcome obstacles and live as independently as possible within their local communities.
Demand for services has never been greater and fundraising is vital to help them continue to provide these opportunities and to also allow them to grow, so they can provide support to even more people. With your donations they can expand Oakwood activities by adding additional groups to their timetable, they can improve their premises so that more people can access their services and they can fund more work placements for people who want to experience the workplace.
Your donations will make a real difference to a person with a learning disability so thank you.
