Complete Snowdon Walk · 16 August 2025

We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.

Story

My name is George and I am 6 years old. I have been learning about orangutan’s at school and the effect is deforestation and the use of palm oil. In George’s words “bad people are chopping down trees for palm oil, which means the orangutan’s are losing there homes. Each day 25 orangutans lose their home or die. I am climbing mount snowdon with the help of my family to raise money for WWF to help save the orangutan’s.” I have a just giving page where all the money will go straight to WWF. I am looking to raise as much as possible. Please share to help spread the news. Even £1 will help me achieve my goal.

I don’t like that this is happening and want to try to help prevent this to save the orangutan’s.

I am looking to raise money for the WWF in order to help the orangutan.

Your support is much appreciated.
