I had an early mid life crisis, having spent several months laid up due to discs protruding into my spine. Starting with walking, now into running I figured the next part of my crisis should be to sign up to a marathon- that was a bit of a jump so start with a half instead! I’ll be running the Great Eastern Run Half Marathon in Peterborough- 13th October 2024.

Making it worth while- I’ll be raising money for The Parish Trust, which is a community charity based in South Wales, covering Caerphilly and the surrounding area. Run by my Brother-in-law , they offer a variety of services to the local area, with the aim of creating resilient and relational communities, making it possible for people to live fuller lives. The charity have a food bank, which delivers a full week’s shop to those in need; run a family games night, which provides a hot meal to all attendees; a toddler group; a youth group; a choir; bereavement and wellbeing courses; and lots more!
