Story
Well at 72 I was sure my days of taking part in mad charity events was over. Then I saw the Beatson Cancer Charity Kelpies event climbing up inside Baron one of the Kelpies horses ( the one with it's head looking upwards), on the 21st of February 2025.
My young brother Philips wife passed away in the Beatson Cancer Hospital in September. So I decided to make this my goal to get fit enough to do it after having a partial knee replacement operation on the 19th of November 2024.
My young brother is hoping to take part in the event with me.
Any donation would be very much appreciated. I am hoping to raise more than the required amount of £250. Any small donation will be very much appreciated.
As normal all expenses will be covered by me all funds raised will go to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
