Story
Hi, I’m Robbo. I’m taking on a year-long challenge that’s part physical, part emotional, and deeply personal.
So why does this matter? As a student myself, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming student life can be with academic pressure, financial stress, and isolation. Mental health struggles are rampant in universities, but support is often underfunded, misunderstood, or just out of reach.
Student Minds is changing that. They’re working directly with students, universities, and policymakers to improve mental health support systems across the UK. But they can’t do it without funding.
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. Their goal is to transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive. They support students to develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills to look after their own mental health, support their peers, and create change. They also work collaboratively with institutions, students’ unions, and other organisations involved in higher education, supporting them to take a whole-university approach to mental health.
I’m doing this for everyone who’s struggled in silence. For everyone who needed help and didn’t know where to turn. For the students who are still climbing their own mountains.
Climb your mountains; don't live in their shadows. ️
