Story

A year ago I attended a special wedding in Dublin and shared a table with someone who was running the marathon the following day. With a little inspiration and a minor hangover, I decided to enter the ballot for the following year and annoyingly managed to secure a place!

Following some sad news within my family this year, I have decided to run it in their memory and for a very worthy cause, Macmillan Cancer Support. This one is for Bern - for whom I will be having a pint of Guinness (or several) when / if I cross the finish line. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Wish me luck!
