This September I am organising for Manchester Bees Dodgeball Club to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Each member will be raising money for causes that they are passionate about while trying to reach our team donation target.

I will be raising money for North West Children's Support Group, a charity my family and I have been involved with for decades. The North West Children’s Support Group is a Lancashire based voluntary organisation which provides holidays and social events for children with disabilities or additional needs from our region who:

-Need the opportunity to share experiences on a social level

-Have parents who need respite from their full-time care

-Would not otherwise have a holiday

Having first hand experience of the good work we do I can guarantee this money has a real meaningful impact on the lives of these young people.

On a personal level, this will be a massive challenge and milestone for me, and a celebration of fitness, one year on from my knee surgery.
