2023 I have had the honour of being Captain at my Golf club for Spring greens section at Westgate & Birchington Golf club. In spirit of raising money I’ve decided to grow my hair and not have it cut for over a year and planned lots of fundraising events to raise money for a charity throughout the year.

The Charity I have chosen is Prostate Cancer UK as a charity partner to raise awareness and fundraise for a disease that kills one man every 45 minutes, the same time on average that it takes to play three holes of golf.

includes those most frequently affected by the disease, which is most commonly men over the age of 50, black men over 45 and those with a family history of the illness.

Prostate Cancer UK raises vital awareness of the disease, alongside funds which support research into prostate cancer, as well as supporting men and their families affected by prostate cancer. We have pledged to raise funds to support Prostate Cancer UK via our membership and our events.
