In memory of George

Please help continue Rotary’s global campaign to finally eradicate polio. Rotary’s ‘End Polio Now’ initiative is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which triples every donation.

George was a dedicated Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Hayle for over 30 years. He was President three times and was honoured with a Paul Harris Fellowship, Rotary’s highest recognition for service. He will be remembered for his humour and tireless support of communities both locally and internationally.

Born in 1937, George grew up during a time when polio outbreaks devastated families until the vaccine became available in the 1960s. Supporting this cause is a fitting tribute to his life of service.
