Story
On 31st May, I’ll be running the Manchester Half Marathon in support of an incredible charity, The Little Princess Trust.
Alongside this, I’ll also be shaving and donating my hair (which I will have been growing for 2 and a half years) to help provide support for children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other serious illnesses.
The Little Princess Trust does amazing work by providing free, real-hair wigs to children who need them, helping to restore confidence and a sense of normality during an incredibly difficult time. They also fund vital childhood cancer research.
I’m proud to be doing my part — both on the road and in the chair. Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards making a difference in a child’s life.
Real-hair wigs cost the trust around £500 each to make so any donations will go towards both the costs of making wigs, but also funding vital research into the conditions/diseases that destroy the lives of these children and young people.
Thank you so much for your support
