Story
I'm taking on Thriller in the Villa 2026 to raise money for Isle Stand Up to Suicide, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. Any support is hugely appreciated.
Thriller in the Villa is a fun event for the Island's community, providing a platform for local fundraising. The event sees local volunteers embrace the challenge of stepping into the boxing ring and raising funds for their chosen charity in the Villa Marina's Royal Hall in Douglas, Isle of Man.
I moved to the Isle of Man from Manchester with my family 18 months ago, and I'm a huge sports fan as well as a mental health healthcare worker. Living with ADHD means I can be a bit of a chatterbox, but it also gives me a real appreciation for the importance of mental health and supporting those who need it.
I chose to take part in Thriller in the Villa 2026 because I wanted to challenge myself, lose some weight, and push myself beyond my social anxiety. Stepping into the boxing ring is completely outside my comfort zone, but I hope the experience will help me grow in confidence while getting as fit as possible.
I have chosen to support Isle Stand Up to Suicide because it is a charity that is very close to my heart. The work they do supporting people with their mental health and raising awareness across our community is incredibly important, and I'm proud to be raising money to help them continue making a difference.
The months of training and stepping into the ring will be tough, but every session and every round will be worthwhile if it helps support such an important local charity.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Isle Stand Up to Suicide continue supporting people across the Isle of Man.
Thank you for supporting me, supporting Isle Stand Up to Suicide, and helping me take on the challenge of Thriller in the Villa 2026.
