Story

My story

When I was four years old I came home from school and my dad showed me one of his friends. He had grew his hair long and then had it cut for a charity called the little princess trust who make wigs for children that have lost their hair. I thought it was a nice thing to do and at four I said I would do the same, so for the last seven years I have been growing my hair. Tomorrow I'll be 12 and my hair is down to my bum! So it's the perfect time to have the chop.

Mum & Dad's Story!

On 21st June 2025, George is getting his lovely long hair chopped. If he could get a pound for every time someone has called him a girl, he'd be able to pay for 10 wigs to be made... but as it is, he's hoping to raise enough to pay for his hair to be made into a wig and provided to another child who has lost their own hair.

This kid is the most amazing young man, and we couldn't be more proud of him and the commitment he's made to growing it as long as he can, because what LPT are desperate for hair donations over 30cm long!

He was picked on in primary school by the older kids, and has even had to deal with adults telling him he needs to get it cut (despite explaining to them why he's growing it!)

If you can donate even a couple of quid, he (and we) will be so grateful. ❤️

The Little Princess Trust

Thanks to our fantastic fundraisers we are able to provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.

It costs The Little Princess Trust £700 to provide one child or young person with a real hair wig and we currently help around 2,000 children every year.

The Little Princess Trust also funds childhood cancer research and, since 2016, has supported 152 projects searching for kinder and more effective treatments.

This all means that every pound you raise really helps us give Hair and Hope to many children and young people with cancer.
