Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

The story behind this is that for most of the past 10 years (outside Covid) I have cycled the Ride London 100 event annually to raise money for various charities including Cash for Kids, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Cancer Research and Alzheimer’s Research UK.

In September 2023 I decided to ride the 980 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats as part of the Ride Across Britain event in September 2024 with Macmillan as my chosen charity. Unfortunately in October 2023 I came off my bike and broke my right hip. This required a total hip replacement which took place on 30th October 2023. I have recovered well and plan to do the ride as intended.
