It marks seven.. SEVEN years since my mum passed away under the wonderful care of the Wirral St John’s Hospice. A place she called safe, a place that she felt comfortable and cared for in her last few months, weeks and days of life. A place I spent my time with her, giving us those opportunities to be together and both feel loved and looked after.

My daughters will take part in their own fundraising activity, taking on a big Bergamo city walk (with of course a gelato crawl along the way).

On their way up to Città Alta, the girls will give out sweets to the public, my mum had the biggest sweet tooth and she’s definitely passed that onto her granddaughters.

Keeping my mums memory alive is the most important thing I can do for my daughters.
