We are taking on a very special challenge — firstly walking Snowdon all for an incredible little boy, Sid 💜

Sid has SMA Type 1 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), a rare genetic condition that causes severe muscle weakness and impacts everyday life. Despite everything he faces, Sid is full of personality, strength, and the most amazing smile.

We’ve known Sid for almost three years now, as he’s the brother of our daughter’s best friend, Nancy. Seeing him at school each day, we’re constantly reminded what an incredible and inspiring little boy he is.

We are raising money to help support adaptations and renovations to Sid’s home, making it safer, more accessible, and better suited to his needs. These changes will make a huge difference to his comfort, independence, and quality of life.

This challenge means a lot to us. Over the coming months, we’ll be taking on the mountains one by one — all to help make a real difference for Sid and his family.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards creating a better, more accessible home for Sid.
