As many of you may know I am attempting my first marathon in April! I want to raise money for a cause very close to mine and my family’s hearts, the Down’s Syndrome Association. Most of you will know my gorgeous little brother Joe, who has had a massive impact on the person I am today. Joe was born with Down’s Syndrome and Autism. Growing up with him in the family has certainly had its challenges, but we absolutely would never have changed him for the world! The Down’s Syndrome Association has helped him and our family so much throughout the years with invaluable support and advice, so it seems only right that I try to give something back to such a fantastic charity. As much as I enjoy running, this will be a real challenge for me and something which a few years ago I wouldn’t have thought possible.
