I’ve had the privilege to see first hand how incredible Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity really is and how impactful each and every service is that it provides 💛

Rays of Sunshine brightens the lives of seriously ill children across the UK by granting magical wishes and providing ongoing support in hospitals and within the community.

I’ve worked as a Wish Granter for Rays of Sunshine for a year and a half now and I couldn’t feel luckier or passionate to be able to grant so many magical wishes and get to know the incredibly inspiring wish children and their families too.

From meeting Cinderella and having a princess party to hanging out with their football heroes. From getting dressed up to attend a Marvel movie premiere in London to looking up into space and capturing pictures of the moon. From having a zookeeper experience and meeting their favourite animals to getting the chance to film a YouTube video in a football stadium to themselves - the possibilities and creativity behind the wishes we grant are endless.

The positive impact it has on the wish children and their families, is why we do what we do. To bring joy, hope and an inclusive community. It’s to create a space for the families to have new and wonderful experiences and opportunities to make such important and powerful memories together.

I couldn’t be prouder to be setting myself the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, on 4th April 2027, for Rays of Sunshine.
