Thames Moonlight 10 Ultra Challenge – In Memory of My Grandad Alex
This year, I’m taking on the Thames Moonlight 10 Ultra Challenge in memory of my grandad, Alex, and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Grandad Alex was a strong, loving man who meant the world to me. He had a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a way of making everyone around him feel safe and cared for. Losing him was incredibly hard, but I’m proud to take on this challenge in his name.
I’m supporting Macmillan because the work they do is truly life-changing. From practical advice to emotional support, they are there for people living with cancer at some of the toughest moments of their lives. They help not just the person with cancer, but their families too—offering guidance, reassurance, and compassion when it’s needed most.
Every pound raised will help Macmillan continue their vital work, reaching more people and making sure no one faces cancer alone.
Every step I take is for my grandad. This walk is for Alex—and for everyone who has been affected by cancer.
Please donate if you can. Your support means everything.
Thank you.
