Story
Hi my name is Georgia and with my 18th birthday fast approaching I have decided to go big and bold and booked a sky dive. Although I didn’t just stop there, I’ve also given myself the challenge of raising money for the air ambulance.
My reason for supporting this charity is due to having an understanding of both the aviation and medical industries as well as, understanding the cost to keeping this aircraft operational and I would love to play a small part in providing a donation to help with the operational cost.
Air ambulances play a critical role in emergency medical services, providing swift and efficient transportation for patients in need. With their ability to overcome obstacles and reach remote locations, air ambulance offer rapid response and accessibility that is often not feasible with ground transportation.
Northern Ireland has one operational helicopter with one back up helicopter as well as a rapid response vehicle taking £2.5 million each year to sustain this service.
So Why donate?
Air ambulance charities are funded almost entirely by donations, and so your support is vital in ensuring they can continue to fly and save lives every day.
