Wellington Prefect Challenge 2025 - Tough Mudder

Georgia Simmons is raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer

Tough Mudder 2025 · 21 September 2025

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

The Prefect Team will be taking part in the Tough Mudder 2025, a brutal course with obstacles designed to test endurance, teamwork and mental strength. Some of these include crawling through thick mud under barbed wire, plunging into ice baths, running through dangling live wires and going through tunnels of tear gas.

We’re doing this all to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer, aiming for a target amount of £18k to represent the 18 boarding houses in Wellington.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to. At Young Lives vs Cancer, they help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
