Story
In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.
I lost my dad to cancer in 2017, so this challenge is deeply personal for me. I’m not a hiker or a marathon runner by any means, but at 26, it felt meaningful to take on a 26 mile hike in support of Macmillan. I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work they do and the support they gave my dad and our family and this is my way of giving back.
I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
