I'm excited to share that I'm participating in the #TeamMacular London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 on April 6, 2025, to help Beat Macular Disease!

I have chosen to support Macular Society as this is a charity close mine and my family’s hearts, my Grandad lives with macular degeneration, this has had a huge impact on his life and I can see the importance of raising awareness and supporting with fundraising for new research and treatments.

Macular disease is the leading cause of sight loss in the UK, affecting around 300 people every single day. It not only takes away vision but also confidence and the ability to enjoy life fully.

The only way we can truly Beat Macular Disease is through increased funding for vital research. We need to invest now, so we can discover a cure or develop treatments that halt its progression. The Macular Society stands at the forefront of this battle, dedicated to alleviating the fear and isolation that comes with macular disease through world-class research and unparalleled support.
