Story
The Smallest Things is dedicated to creating a better world for premature babies and their families after neonatal care.
On 25th July me and Georgia have (somewhat questionably) signed up to complete a 15k Tough Mudder. That’s 15 kilometres of mud, ice baths, electric shocks, obstacles, and very poor life choices — all in the name of a good cause.
We’ll be crawling through mud that probably has its own ecosystem, climbing over walls we have absolutely no business attempting, and questioning our fitness levels (and friendship) at least 47 times along the way. There will be sweat. There will be mud. There may be tears. There will almost certainly be embarrassing photos.
But we’re doing it for something far more important than bragging rights.
We’re raising money for The Smallest Things — a charity that supports premature and sick babies and their families. They work to improve neonatal care and provide vital support during what can be one of the most frightening and overwhelming times a family can face.
While we’re choosing to be uncomfortable for a few hours, many families experience challenges they never chose. If our muddy suffering can help raise funds and awareness to support these tiny fighters and their families, then every electric shock and ice plunge will be worth it.
If you’re able to sponsor us — whether it’s the cost of a coffee or something a little more — we would be so grateful. Your support will genuinely make a difference.
Please help us turn mud into money for an incredible cause. And if nothing else, sponsor us for the entertainment value alone.
Thank you so much ❤️
