Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page! I’m so excited to share that I’ll be running the Barcelona Half Marathon on 16 February to raise funds for the Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre. This charity holds a really special place in my heart. I spent summer holidays there as a child in their integration programmes and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work they do for families in our community.

If you know me, you’ll know running isn’t exactly my forte! I’ve been training for four months and after a Christmas break filled with turkey, stuffing and chocolates, I’m getting back into it, which is not easy 🥵 I’ll feel better about the tough training sessions knowing I’ve got your support behind me for the Centre.

The Opportunity Centre provides essential resources and support for children with additional needs and their families. They run specialist programmes, provide expert advice and offer a space where children can grow, learn and feel included. This support is a lifeline for so many families in the Forest of Dean and beyond, helping kids reach their full potential and thrive in a world that isn’t always set up for them.

I’ve set a fundraising target of £1,000 and every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference. Your support can help fund forest school, learning experiences, sensory equipment and family support services that change lives.
