This November I’m running a half marathon to raise money for Paul’s Place, a specialist bereavement counselling service provided by Liverpool-based charity Beacon Counselling Trust. It was founded in memory of Paul Jensen and Paul “Geoff” Williams, two young men from Liverpool who both tragically died by taking their own lives. Nobody should ever feel so hopeless that they believe they don’t belong here, and no parent should ever have to endure the heartbreak of losing a child in this way. Paul’s Place offers compassion, counselling and community to those facing unimaginable grief, and your support will help them continue their vital work.
