Story
The Child Brain Injury Trust supports children and families affected by acquired brain injury. GloWeek is a national campaign organised by the charity to increase awareness of road safety. It takes place in October as the clocks change, the evenings get darker, our visibility on roads decreases, and the number of acquired brain injuries from road traffic accidents increases. The following exciting events are coming to Unipart on Tuesday 20th October in support of GloWeek:
1. Sticker giveaway: Grab some high visibility stickers in funky shapes and colours to pop on your bike, scooter, or other vehicle of choice!
2. Baked goods: Come to the Unipart kitchen to grab some cookies and cakes. There is an option to make a charity donation if you would like.
3. Wear high visibility outfits: Wear something fun and fluorescent to raise awareness of the importance of road safety!
In addition, Georgie is doing the GloWeek Challenge, which involves running 5km every day in October wearing something fluorescent to raise money for the Child Brain Injury Trust. Any donations you would like to make via this page are gratefully received!
