In September 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

Will you help me raise my £1,000 pledge? Here I am with my friends Ailsa and Michele who are walking with me. We've been trudging all over Somerset and Dorset training since January this year so that we'll be able to skip (we won't really skip) the 26 miles with Michele our pace maker keeping us marching at speed on 13th September.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
